Picking pages quickly
- Tap a preview to select it; tap again to deselect.
- Type into the box for long documents: 1, 3-5, 20-end.
- Odd / Even selects every other page: handy for pulling the fronts out of a duplex scan.
- Invert flips the selection, so "all except these" takes two taps.
The pages are saved in their original order. To reorder as well, type a range such as 9-5 in Custom ranges, which saves pages backwards.
Extract or remove?
They're two sides of the same cut. Extract when you want a few pages out of many; remove pages when you want to keep most of the document and drop a few. For several separate files at once, use custom ranges.
Questions about extracting pages
How do I extract one page from a PDF?
Open the PDF, tap that single page so it shows a tick, and press Split PDF. You get a one-page PDF named after the page number.
Can I extract pages that are not next to each other?
Yes. Tap any mix of pages, or type them, for example 2, 5-7, 12. They are saved together in page order in one new PDF.
I want each extracted page as its own file. How?
Use Custom ranges on the home page and type each page separated by a comma (2, 5, 12). Every comma starts a new file.
Is the original PDF changed?
No. Your original file is only read. Extraction produces a new file and leaves the original exactly as it was.
Do extracted pages keep their quality?
Yes. The page objects are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
