Good to know before you delete
- Bookmarks and table-of-contents links that pointed at removed pages have nowhere to go, so bookmarks are not carried over.
- Page numbers printed on the page are part of the page image and won't renumber themselves.
- Signed documents: removing any page invalidates a digital signature, because the signature covers the original bytes.

How do I delete pages from a PDF without Acrobat?
Open the PDF here, tap the pages to delete (they turn red with a cross) and press Split PDF. You get a copy without those pages. No Acrobat or install needed.
How do I remove page 1 from a PDF?
Open the PDF, press "First page" (or tap page 1) and press Split PDF. The copy you download starts at page 2.
How do I delete a page in a PDF without Adobe?
Use this page: it runs in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox with nothing to install. On a Mac, Preview also works: show thumbnails, select the page, press Delete and save.
Can I delete every blank page from a scan?
Yes. Press "Find blank pages": each page is checked for ink in your browser and near-empty pages are selected for you to review. See remove blank pages for tuning the sensitivity.
Does removing pages make the file smaller?
Usually, yes. pdf-lib only copies the resources the remaining pages use, so images or fonts used only on deleted pages are left out.
Can I undo it?
Your original file is never modified, so the full version is still on your device. Just open it again.
